February Fun with Fisher-Price
At the beginning of the month, Fisher-Price and Mom Central Canada sent us a large shipment of goodies for the kids. I particularly appreciated the timing as I needed them to be occupied while we attempted to unpack from our trip to the UK, and indoor distractions are always useful when I need to look after the baby.
The two older boys have enjoyed their Imaginext ® sets – the Dino Deluxe and Joker’s Fun House. They already had a smaller Imaginext ® stegosaurus so they’ve put the two of them together for imaginary battles. I can preach peace all I want, but they do enjoy pretend shooting and ramming things into other things. (BOYS.)
I think they’ve enjoyed the dinosaurs more than the Joker’s Fun House as, if you can believe it, they don’t really know who he is. So far, they haven’t been exposed to much Batman. They enjoyed that the fun house can do so many things, and that it has a giant tongue, which has provided many laughs. Their favourite thing about both of these toys, they tell me, is that they aware they can get more sets and figures to build on their collections. (Grandma/Santa, get ready for them to start begging.)
Charlie lucked out and received a Musical Projection Swing. Actually, I’m the one who lucked out. He likes to sit in it and gaze at the colourful images that are projected onto the canopy. I like the colourful design, and the sounds aren’t annoying. It does take up a fair bit of space in our family room, but it’s worth it if he’s happy to stay and swing.
